Life through the Son

VI

Friends today it was given to me by the Lord our Devotion. Praise HIM who gave this to me. While I was doing it and reading them I was overwhelmed with the great things about the SON. Please have patience to read them and ask the Holy Spirit to understand them. Did you know that in Hebrew literature when they want to emphasize something they repeat it continuously for understanding? In todays scripture please read them with open heart. They are actually from the book for John 5:16-40, I added all the scriptures connected with each verses for better understanding.

John 5
16 Now because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began persecuting him. 17 So he told them, “My Father is working until now, and I too am working.”
John 14:10;Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on my own initiative, but the Father residing in me performs his miraculous deeds.
18 For this reason the Jewish leaders were trying even harder to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was also calling God his own Father, thus making himself equal with God.
19 So Jesus answered them, “I tell you the solemn truth, the Son can do nothing on his own initiative, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.
John 5:30 -  I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me.;
John 8:38 I am telling you the things I have seen while with the Father; as for you, practice the things you have heard from the Father!”;
John 9:4 We must perform the deeds of the one who sent me as long as it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work
Isa 54:5
For your husband is the one who made you –
the LORD who commands armies is his name.
He is your protector, the Holy One of Israel.
He is called “God of the entire earth.”
John 10:30 - The Father and I are one.”
John 14:9 - Jesus replied, “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known me, Philip? The person who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?;
John 17:5 - And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.
20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does, and will show him greater deeds than these, so that you will be amazed.
John 1:2 The Word1 was with God in the beginning.
John 3:35 The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority.
John 7:16 So Jesus replied, “My teaching is not from me, but from the one who sent me.
John 8:28 Then Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing on my own initiative, but I speak just what the Father taught me
John 14:24 The person who does not love me does not obey my words. And the word you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes. 22 Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,
Matt 11:27; All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him
John 3:35; The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority.
23 so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
John 2:23 Now while Jesus was in Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover, many people believed in his name because they saw the miraculous signs he was doing.
24 “I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.
John 3:18; The one who believes in him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
John 6:40 For this is the will of my Father – for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 6:47; I tell you the solemn truth, the one who believes has eternal life.
John 8:51; I tell you the solemn truth, if anyone obeys my teaching, he will never see death.
Luke 23:43; And Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise
25 I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming – and is now here – when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
Eph 2:1; And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins
Eph 2:5; even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved!
1Tim 5:6; But the one who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives.
26 For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself, 27 and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
28 “Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice
1Thess 4:16; For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
29 and will come out – the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation.
Dan 12:2; Many of those who sleep
in the dusty ground will awake –
       some to everlasting life,
and others to shame and everlasting abhorrence
Matt 25:34; Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Matt 25:46; And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
30 I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me.
John 6:38; For I have come down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.
31 “If I testify about myself, my testimony is not true.
John 8:14; Jesus answered, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, because I know where I came from and where I am going. But you people do not know where I came from or where I am going.
32 There is another who testifies about me, and I know the testimony he testifies about me is true.
Isa 42:1; “Here is my servant whom I support,
my chosen one in whom I take pleasure.
       I have placed my spirit on him;
       he will make just decrees
 for the nations
Matt 3:17; And a voice from heaven said, “This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”
Matt 17:5; While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my one dear Son, in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!
33 You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
John 1:15; John testified about him and shouted out, “This one was the one about whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is greater than I am, because he existed before me.
John 1:19; Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
John 1:27; who is coming after me. I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandal!”
34 (I do not accept human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.) 35 He was a lamp that was burning and shining, and you wanted to rejoice greatly for a short time in his light.
36 “But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete – the deeds I am now doing – testify about me that the Father has sent me.
1John 5:9; If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that he has testified concerning his Son.
John 10:25; Jesus replied, “I told you and you do not believe. The deeds I do in my Father’s name testify about me.
37 And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time,
Matt 3:17; And a voice from heaven said, “This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”
Matt 17:5; While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my one dear Son, in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!
Mark 1:11; And a voice came from heaven: “You are my one dear Son; in you I take great delight.”
Mark 9:7; Then a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came from the cloud, “This is my one dear Son. Listen to him!

Luke 9:35; Then a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him!
John 1:33; And I did not recognize him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining – this is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.
John 6:27; Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life – the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put his seal of approval on him.
John 8:18; I testify about myself and the Father who sent me testifies about me.
2Pet 1:17; For he received honor and glory from God the Father, when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory: “This is my dear Son, in whom I am delighted.”
Exod 33:20; But he added, “You cannot see my face, for no one can see me and live
Deut 4:12; Then the LORD spoke to you from the middle of the fire; you heard speech but you could not see anything – only a voice was heard.
1Tim 6:16; He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.
1John 4:12; No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God resides in us, and his love is perfected in us.
38 nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent. 39 You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me,
Isa 34:16; Carefully read the scroll of the LORD!
Not one of these creatures will be missing,
       none will lack a mate.
For the LORD has issued the decree,
and his own spirit gathers them.
Luke 16:29; But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they must respond to them.
Acts 17:11; These Jews were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they eagerly received the message, examining the scriptures carefully every day to see if these things were so.
Deut 18:18; I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth and he will speak to them whatever I command.
Luke 24:27; Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things written about himself in all the scriptures.
John 1:45; Philip found Nathanael1 and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also2 wrote about – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
40 but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.
41 “I do not accept praise from people, 42 but I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you. 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. 44 How can you believe, if you accept praise from one another and don’t seek the praise that comes from the only God?
John 12:43; For they loved praise from men more than praise from God.
45 “Do not suppose that I will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.
Gen 3:15; And I will put hostility between you and the woman
       and between your offspring and her offspring;
her offspring will attack your head,
and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”
Gen 22:18; Because you have obeyed me, all the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.’”
Gen 26:4; I will multiply your descendants so they will be as numerous as the stars in the sky, and I will give them all these lands. All the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.
Gen 28:14; Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west, east, north, and south. All the families of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using your name and that of your descendants.
Deut 18:18; I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth and he will speak to them whatever I command.
47 But if you do not believe what Moses wrote, how will you believe my words?”

AMEN! Hope the Holy Scriptures speak it self to you. Did you see it? Did you feel it? The Son with his humble and Love to the Father does only what the Father commanded. That kind of love pleases the Father and given The Son everything that is his. With the greatness of our Lord Jesus Christ - salvation and life comes from HIM. Glory be to GOD!

Friends, The word became flesh and it lives in us. Hope and pray you may receive the bread of life through the Son of our Almighty Father!

Perseverance in our path to Righteousness

Day V

Perseverance as it is defined: –noun

1.
steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state,etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, ordiscouragement.
2.
Theology continuance in a state of grace to the end, leading to eternal salvation.

Today, I would like to talk about how to continue our commitment to walk the right path. Again, first we create that need BELIEVE THAT WE NEED JESUS and he saved us to live with him, second - we choose the right path, third we get help from The Father, The Son Jesus which is our Holy Spirit (our helper). Yesterday we talked about what is inevitable which is our struggle to sin. Today, I will support it with scriptures that would strengthen our commitment.

As it was defined Perseverance is another armor that we should have in our journey to righteousness. Friends, I am also like you living in this wicked world - slave in this sinful body BUT I am focus to perfect my life for Jesus. As we commit ourselves to righteousness, when we die DAILY or moment by moment to be together with Jesus and  live with him.

In the book of Romans it was illustrated well.

Romans 7

1 Or do you not know, brothers and sisters1 (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law is lord over a person as long as he lives? 2 For a married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he lives, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of the marriage. 3 So then, if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress. 4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful desires, aroused by the law, were active in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. 6 But now we have been released from the law, because we have died to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code.

Having that said, as we are now living in Union with Christ we are married with Him. We are now bound to our commitment and responsibility to do what pleases our partner. Just like couples they talked, they care with each other, they show compassion to each other and LOVE each other dearly. By the way did you know that the Bible define what love is?

1 Corinthians 13

4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up.5 It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful.  6 It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

 8 Love never ends.

Proverbs 10

     12 Hatred stirs up dissension,
but love covers all transgressions. - just as how Jesus Died for YOU AND FOR ME.

1 Corinthians 10
24 Do not seek your own good, but the good of the other person. this is being selfless - just like our partner Jesus who did it for us

Philippians 2
4 Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well.

1 Peter 4
8 Above all keep your love for one another fervent, because love covers a multitude of sins. FORGIVENESS - for God so love the world that he gave is ONLY SON for US.

See?! That's the power of the Bible it gives us wisdom and truth. Now, is it not favorable to love them back?! The Father Loves us even before you knew it! Jesus with his arms wide open shows and suffers because of HIS unmeasurable LOVE for us. They give us Holy Spirit to be our helper to do the right thing?! It is only a foolish that cannot understand the value of RETURNING THE LOVE. Friends God loves us so much! Is it not our part to love HIM back? Even a sinful father shows love to someone. Think about it.

Going back, in our commitment to Jesus to be righteous we should live like married individuals HAVING our responsibility to our partner.

Do you know the REWARDS of this relationship? Of course we are loved back, peace and great things. But that is what I feel. Now let us see what the bible would say.

Romans 8

28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, 29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.
31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?  33 Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died (and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.  35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”   37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us! 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That is just one part of our REWARDS. We will talk about the great things God gives to those who love HIM. Glory be His Name and His Kingdom!

Friends, again at some point in our lives we will surrender to something or someone. Seek for the right ONE, be hungry to the greatness in God's presence. May you have the wisdom of understanding and truth.

God bless you and may others be blessed by you.

Struggling with Sin

Day 4

I woke up early and prayed. I asked God for guidance and wisdom for todays devotion. God showed us "Struggling with Sin". When we live for Jesus Christ and accepted him as our savior - for that very reason he died in the cross he cleans us. He is giving us a fresh start, a CLEAN slate for us to take. Friends - when you encounter Jesus Christ he will renew you! He is the only one who can do that. I want you to open your bible and go to the Book of Romans there we could see the illustrations.

Since the creation of the world, Sin entered the world through Adam that leads to Death. In the same manner as God show his great love through one man Life comes.

Romans 5

12 So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned – Gen 3:6; 1Cor 15:21; Gen 2:17; Rom 6:23; 13 for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law. 14 Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming one) transgressed. 15 But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many! 16 And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification. 17 For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!
18 Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous. 20 Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more, John 15:22; Rom 4:15; Rom 7:8; Gal 3:19; Luke 7:47; 21 so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Remember

John 3

16 For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
                                                          Rom 5:8; Rom 8:31; 1John 4:9; John 3:36; Luke 19:10; 1John 5:10;

God the Father send his Holy Son for us to be saved. So, BELIEVE you can be saved from your pain, BELIEVE that Jesus Christ can clean you. When we encounter great distress we are willing to give up everything or at some point we will surrender to something. I hope you surrender to a great authority - rather than giving up your life to idols, money, leisure, expectation of your parents, partners and all worldly individual or things which in time will eventually disappoint you. Surrender to God - give your life to Jesus and you would get everything you need.

I surrendered my life to Jesus and I am proud to say I am with him and He is with me. I am doing this because once I was there longing for something. Now I am testifying for the great things I have when I belong to my true master.

Should you have a need for more help about our master email or chat with me rykenceremonia@yahoo.com and I will help. I hope and prayed that you would have the hunger to seek for Jesus. All you need to do is pray and ask for it.

As you live with Christ  you will be considered Dead to Sin and Alive in Union with Christ. The next chapter of your life would be to protect that perfection and you have to be SLAVE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS. During your encounter with God he will not let you be alone. Again he will send you the Holy Spirit to help you and do the work for you. Can you see it? God is so great that he will do everything for you. He knows you can't do it alone - reason why he will send great helper to expose the truth to you and lead you towards righteousness. I testify the power of Spirit, they are real they talk and they take charge!

All they need (The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit needs) is YOUR authorization to be under them. Invite them in you and surrender your all - let them take control. I guarantee you would just relax and have a great life with them.

Now, for today after your conversion as you protect your righteousness you would struggle with Sin. Together we will remind ourselves with the power of the scriptures and the truth about them. In the book of Romans Lord explains them - take time to read this and pray for understanding.

Romans 6

1 What shall we say then? Are we to remain in sin so that grace may increase? 2 Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or do you not know that as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Gal 3:27; 4 Therefore we have been buried with him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may live a new life.   5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united in the likeness of his resurrection.  6 We know that our old man was crucified with him so that the body of sin would no longer dominate us, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. (For someone who has died has been freed from sin.)

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.  9 We know that since Christ has been raised from the dead, he is never going to die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.  11 So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires, 13 and do not present your members to sin as instruments to be used for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members to God as instruments to be used for righteousness. ; 14 For sin will have no mastery over you, because you are not under law but under grace.

15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Absolutely not!

16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to, 18 and having been freed from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness. 19 (I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh.) For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification. 20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness.  John 8:34;

21 So what benefit did you then reap from those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life. 23 For the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It might come to you as always in me before that - it's true, wow! this is so Good that's what Jesus did however I don't think I can do it because I know myself I can't I have tried that and I always sin. You know what?! ABSOLUTELY! Thank you for being honest! Again, you can't do it and NEVER WILL. God won't let you do it alone! God knows that while we are still in this wicked world we are in constant assault with 3 factors - the Devil, the world and ourselves. That is why he gives the Holy Spirit to be helper! Friends God loves us so much and with his wisdom he knows better.

Again, for the same reason you need someone to help you. YOU NEED THAT ENCOUNTER with God. I hope that you be hungry for that desire.

So, as we choose to be in the righteousness (WE NEED TO Choose) we should live in it. In regard to Struggling with Sin here is what God want us to do.

Romans 6

7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Absolutely not! Certainly, I would not have known sin except through the law. For indeed I would not have known what it means to desire something belonging to someone else if the law had not said, “Do not covet.” 8 But sin, seizing the opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of wrong desires. For apart from the law, sin is dead.  9 And I was once alive apart from the law, but with the coming of the commandment sin became alive 10 and I died. So I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life brought death! 11 For sin, seizing the opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it I died. 12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.

13 Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Absolutely not! But sin, so that it would be shown to be sin, produced death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual – but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin. 15 For I don’t understand what I am doing. For I do not do what I want – instead, I do what I hate.  16 But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good. 17 But now it is no longer me doing it, but sin that lives in me. 18 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it.  19 For I do not do the good I want, but I do the very evil I do not want! 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer me doing it but sin that lives in me.

21 So, I find the law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God in my inner being. ; 23 But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.  24 Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.

Pray that you understand the scripture - as God want you to understand that the law was created to expose sin and for you to admit that you are guilty of such sin. To label sin as SIN and for you not to do it because you KNOW it is sinful to do such act. Truth is exposed to us - Knowledge is Given! Move away from anything that would cause you to sin.

You know what, the best way not to sin is to MOVE AWAY FROM THEM! Stay away from people, circumstances, places, things that cause you to sin. When you SEE that this is temptation - move away from it. BECAUSE what ever gets your attention, creates a behavior and it leads to emotion then will become SIN and when sin is at its fullest it will lead you to DESTRUCTION AND DEATH!

It's like this - when you see that there is a temptation of lust (a person who seems interested in you), because it catches our attention we then think because he/she is quite easy we may want to go close to him/her its not bad to have a talk, then you started talking then it goes to foolish talk and dirty talk then to touching/kissing then to the SIN and then you did not know he/she is married and have kids. Then you think and doubt then you might continue until it becomes addiction then it would be hard to get out of it. Suddenly the real partner caught you and due to the not so good circumstance and jealousness that person shot you! Then YOUR DEAD! Can you change it when your 6 feet below?

Can you see the picture? If we shut it off before hand then it would be easier. Reason why God tells us to stay away from them because He know that the devil was there in generations. Devil lured many people using the same tactics - show us the desire in us, then use confusion that "it is ok to do it", then telling us "it is easy and won't harm to try it" and he will  try to give us doubt to the right teaching.

Never under estimate the power of ATTENTION and the power of the devil, no one is so great that can toy with the devil and not be harmed. Move away from it.

As you grow spiritually and have the Holy Spirit in you, as you live with Jesus Christ you can command the devil to stay away.

James 4
7 So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you. (Eph 4:27; 1Pet 5:9)

You can move away from Sin! Pray all the time that you would get the protection and ask for the Holy Spirit to help you in your journey.

I hope that this would create another thirst for the greatness of Jesus who provides.
