Renewing My Mind

Day CI

Today dear brothers and sisters our scriptures is about renewing our mind and declare to make it pure for holiness. I want to share this part of Scripture Confessions I declare everyday. For your information there is this booklet named Scripture Confessions that composed of prayers/declarations. I believed and it is proven that when we read the words of prayer aloud, hearing our voice and speaking them out to our soul and spirit. It is like given them an instruction what to do for the day or for that moment. This is very effective and it is proven that it does give a remarkable result. I will add these confessions everyday so that you also can share the blessings from these.

Instructions: Before you read aloud pray that these words become the food for your spirit and help your inner man in its being powerful in spirit.

I dedicate my self to renewing my mind by reading, meditating and speaking God's Word. It is my desire to keep my mind pure and clear from anything that would hurt or weaken me spiritually. I think on things that are pure, lovely, just, of a good report, virtuous and praiseworthy.

I choose to think about good things I refuse thoughts that are inappropriate. I cast down vain imaginations. I will not let doubt, worry, or fear pollute my mind. I will be quick to respond to wrong thoughts and desires by replacing them with proper thoughts and by speaking God's Word over my life.

I refuse to fill my mind with the poison of gossip, backbiting, and jealousy. I will guard and protect my mind by not watching, reading or listening to anything that is not pleasing to the Lord. I make a quality decision to meditate on God's Word and to keep my mind pure and undefiled, that I might be receptive to God's voice and ever ready to do His will.

I consecrate my mind, my will and my emotions to God, for His Service.

Scriptures:

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

2 Corinthians 10:5 and every arrogant obstacle that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obey Christ.
