Justified by Faith

Day XIX

As King David have said.

Romans 4

 6 So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
      7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered;
      8 blessed is the one against whom the Lord will never count sin.”

Brothers and Sisters we should admit that in this world of wickedness we would always fall and commit sin. As long as we are in this body we are in constant assault to temptation. In the same book of Romans it is clearly stated that:

Romans 4

 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Do you know how can we be considered righteous and walk in the path of it? It is only through our faith in God in Jesus Christ who justifies the ungodly.

We all need forgiveness, it is foolish for anyone who would claim he/she is sinless. All of us fall short in the eyes of God. Let us seek forgiveness of our Lord Jesus and let him guide us in the new life with him.

When we unite with Jesus we should put to death our old self and walk in the light.
